The YRD, YRO and YRY fan families cover different airflow and pressure ranges: high airflow at low pressure, balanced process air at medium pressure, and resistant ductwork or critical extraction at high pressure.
The correct centrifugal fan is determined by the intersection of required airflow and system pressure on the fan curve. Checking motor power, speed, efficiency and actual operating conditions reduces excess energy use and insufficient-capacity risk.
